Sober Living Intensive Outpatient

Green Hill Recovery’s Sober Living Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is for emerging adult men living in Green Hill Recovery’s recovery residence. IOP clients typically meet as a group for three hours three times per week for 10 to 16 weeks. Group work is complemented by weekly individual sessions and family programing intended to foster individual and family growth and restore trust while promoting robust recovery foundations.

Our IOP groups are led by master-level therapists who employ several clinical modalities, including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Relapse Prevention Therapy, Mindfulness, and Experiential Therapy. Experiential and holistic sober living activities such as yoga, rock climbing, outdoor activities, and healthy eating are often processed as a group after outings. Clients are held accountable through random drug and alcohol screens.

Green Hill Recovery’s Sober Living IOP meets from 9 am – 12 pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The morning scheduling allows our sober living clients to take afternoon classes, meeting with our academic team, and participate in a wide range of sober living activities.
