Hannah Gage, Former Chair of UNC Board of Governors, Joins Green Hill Recovery Advisory Board

We are extremely pleased to announce Hannah Dawson Gage as a Green Hill Recovery Advisory Board Member. Hannah is a retired media executive and the former Chair and first female Chair of the University of North Carolina Board of Governors, which oversees 16 college campuses, including the North Carolina School of Science and Math, UNC Health Care, and UNC TV. As Chair of the UNC Board of Governors, Hannah worked to design public universities that are sustainable and affordable for both the State and North Carolina families through focusing on operational efficiencies and better graduation rates. She also promoted moving more students through community colleges and using technology to deliver instruction more efficiently and more conveniently. During her 16 year tenure on the UNC Board of Governors Hannah served on the search committees that hired Erskine Bowles, Tom Ross, and US Education Secretary Margaret Spellings as Presidents of the University of North Carolina System.
