Deana Luciano, Ph.D., LCMHC, LCAS

Deana Luciano, Ph.D., LCMHC, LCAS, serves as the Director of Substance Use Programs at Advaita Health, overseeing care and program development for Green Hill Recovery by Advaita Health in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist in North Carolina.

Deana earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Education & Supervision and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. With extensive clinical experience, she works with both adolescents and adults navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

Drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), Deana creates a supportive, collaborative space for growth. Her counseling philosophy centers on partnership—empowering clients to build self-awareness, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward sustained recovery and wellbeing.

Beyond her professional work, Deana enjoys spending time with her family, staying active at the gym, and winding down with a good crime drama. Her dedication to both personal and professional growth reflects the same balance and discipline she encourages in the clients and teams she leads.
