Tripp Johnson

Tripp Johnson is the founder and CEO of Advaita Health, which includes Advaita Integrated Medicine and Green Hill Recovery. As CEO, Tripp is responsible for strategic direction, organizational performance, and culture management. He ensures that all team members remain aligned with Advaita’s core values: living centered, accountability, unity, transparency, and growth. Tripp also leads the development of the Advaita Health brand — the externalization of its culture — representing the organization locally, regionally, and nationally.

Tripp graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a minor in Systems Engineering. While at West Point, he was a four-year member of the Varsity Tennis Team and a Patriot League Champion. After graduation, he was commissioned into the U.S. Army as an infantry officer and completed Ranger School, Airborne School, and Air Assault School. He deployed to Southern Afghanistan as an infantry platoon leader from 2012–2013 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon returning, he served as an executive officer and later as a battalion operations officer.

Prior to founding Green Hill, Tripp was a law student at UNC Chapel Hill and interned at the North Carolina Department of Justice before leaving law school to pursue his passion for helping young adults navigate the complexities of early adulthood.

Having witnessed the profound effects of substance use during his time in college and the Army, Tripp brings deep empathy to those struggling to find meaning in a confusing world. When his own life fell out of balance, he turned to ashtanga yoga and silent meditation—practices he’s maintained daily for more than six years as sources of peace and clarity. He remains committed to sharing his experiences to help others take ownership of their lives and reach their potential.

Tripp is a student of organizational psychology and a proponent of conscious leadership. When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him in a coffee shop reading about Eastern philosophy or leadership. In addition to his work with Advaita Integrated Medicine and Green Hill Recovery, Tripp enjoys consulting with entrepreneurs to help them build values-based, purpose-driven organizations. He lives in Chapel Hill with his wife, Kelsey, and their two children, Zoey and Roy.
